The deans of various colleges, teachers, school staff, and students of Baguio Central University held the 10th research colloquium on November 24 at the university’s function hall.

Dr. Paul Duong Tran a professor and an International speaker who came from California talked about “From Research Idea to Publication”.

In Part 2 of the seminar, Institutional Research Presentation (Final), different teachers, deans, and school staff presented their research. The following studies were presented: “Digital Classroom as a Digital Tool in Teaching and Learning” by Dr. Marilou A. Dela Peña, Dr. Samuel K. Neyney, Ms. Jocelyn Ang, Cristina M. Wallag, and Dr. Jolly B. Mariacos; “Online Learning Modality Delivery of Baguio Central University” by Dr. Elma D. Donaal, Ms. Sheryl Langwas, and Mr. Christian Victor B. Obrero; “Research Skills of Students in the College of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts” by Dr. Michael De Roxas, Dr. Jolly B. Mariacos, Loida Sombilon, and Dr. Marilou A. Dela Peña. “Readiness of BCU Senior High School Students in the Implementation of Limited Face to Face Learning,” by Dr. Manion K. Alcantara, Cherrie Mae M. Manuel, and Merline L. Ignas; “Theory and Practice: Performance of BCU-BSN III Students in the Major Nursing Subjects” by Dr. Gina L. Casi, Priscilla Dela Cruz, Jesse Bantali, and Hilario Sanglay and “Mental Health Status of Senior High Students” by Dr. Geraldine Agpes.

For the Institutional Research Presentation (Proposal): “Classroom Performance Evaluation of the Faculty Baguio Central University” by Dr. Perfecto M. Lopez, Dr. Maria Lourdes G. Eguia, and Ms. Jamaica Luisa D. Simon. “Teacher Development: Keys to Educator Success” by Dr. Samuel K. Neyney, Ms. Arlene Mintas, Ms. Aiza Bheal M. Kitani, and Dr. Michael T. Sebullen “Employees’ Financial Wellbeing in Baguio Central University” by Amalia Ancheta, Rogelio Siloy, Emilia Rillorta, Sheryl l. Baliscao and Dr. Marilou Dela Peña.

According to Dr. Marilou A. Dela Peña, the purpose is “for the research capability building, to enhance the research and competency of the faculty, staff, and students.

The following studies were judged by the panels: Dr. Samuel K. Neyney, Dr. Lourdes M. Trajano, and Dr. Remedios Laroco.

The seminar ends with the awarding of certificates to panel members and participants.
