Our very own Muaythai Athlete Ms. AJ La Madrid received a Major Award for winning Silver Medal in Wai Kru at Bangkok Thailand last year. Our Alumni Athlete Mrs. Gina “Conviction Iniong” Araos received Major award for being a Silver Medalist in Kurash Women’s 63kg At Hangzhou, China and Ms.Zyra G. Bon-as received Major Award for winning Bronze Medal in kun Mhmer at the SEA Games in Cambodia, (Ms. Bon-as was a former varsity athlete during her Senior High school). Also, Ms. Marilyn B. Tabareng received Minor Award for winning Bronze Medal in kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Mr. Emmanuel D. Cantores was awarded the MALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR, the highest recognition of this event! Mr. Cantores is the current coach of the BCU Combative Club.

These awards and recognitions are Testaments and reflections of the Dedication of the BCU athletes as well as the program of the BCU Athletic Department in attaining excellence in Sports. May you continue to carry on the legacy of excellence and inspire more athletes to achieve greater heights.
