The College of Business Administration (CBA) proudly joined the university-wide BCU Eagles Run 2025 held on December 6 at Burnham Lake Drive, Baguio City. As early as 4:30 AM, CBA faculty members were already warming up with fellow employees, students, alumni, and university partners, united by the shared goal of promoting wellness, camaraderie, and community spirit.

Participants took on the 3K, 5K, and 10K routes passing through iconic Baguio landmarks including Burnham Lake, BGH Rotonda, the City High Athletic Bowl, and Scout Barrio. With excitement and determination filling the morning air, streams of runners pushed forward with eagle-strong energy.

Among the proud representatives of the college was Dr. Cherrie Mae M. Manuel, Dean of the College of Business Administration, whose participation reinforced CBA’s commitment to championing faculty wellness. Her involvement highlighted the value of modeling healthy lifestyle practices to the academic community and aligned with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, emphasizing the importance of wellness, balance, and active living among educators.

CBA faculty members embraced the fun run not only as a fitness activity but also as a meaningful opportunity for team bonding and stress relief, reflecting the college’s dedication to supporting a healthy and engaged workforce.

Following the success of the fun run, the celebration of wellness continued as the BCU Employees Sportsfest officially opened at 10:00 AM at the BCU Magsaysay Auditorium. Employees from various departments were grouped together for a vibrant cheering competition, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and school spirit. The excitement carried on with a series of parlor games, bringing out laughter, friendly competition, and strong camaraderie among employees.

The day concluded with the much-awaited volleyball competition, where teams demonstrated athletic skill, strategy, and sportsmanship, further strengthening unity across the university community.

The BCU Eagles Run 2025 and Employees Sportsfest highlighted not only physical endurance but also the collective spirit of engagement and togetherness that BCU continues to cultivate. For the CBA, these activities reaffirm the college’s commitment to supporting faculty well-being, fostering collegial relationships, and nurturing a vibrant, health-centered work culture.

As BCU celebrates its 80th year, the CBA looks forward to more initiatives that empower educators to stay active, connected, and inspired, because at CBA, wellness fuels excellence, and together, we soar higher.
