February 4, 2026 at Baguio City — To support the next generation of law enforcement professionals, the Baguio Central University College of Criminal Justice Education continued its tradition of the Board Operations for the February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination.

The three-day national exam is the final requirement for those seeking the RCrim title. To ensure the 84 examinees felt the full weight of their school’s support, the CCJE faculty, Student Government Officers (SGO), and Class Mandarasig Criminology Interns mobilized across multiple testing centers in Baguio City.

The team was divided into specialized units to cover every major testing site. With a disciplined 4:30 AM call time, faculty and volunteers were stationed at the following locations:

  • Baguio Palace Hotel: Team Alpha (led by Sir Ranty Pao-eng and Gov. Jay D. Padilla)
  • University of the Cordilleras (Main): Team Bravo (led by Sir Norman B. Bustillo)
  • New Town Plaza Hotel: Team Charlie (led by Sir Ernesto Bucalan and Sec. Lara Nicole G. Antonio)
  • Skyrise Hotel: Team Delta and Team Echo (led by Ma’am Laura Stephanie Gulla)
  • Baguio Teachers Camp: Team Foxtrot and Team Golf (led by Dean Beca May Pidlao-Palitayan and Rep. Lavigne B. Dayog)
  • Hotel Supreme: Teams Hawk, India, Echo, and Golf
  • PRC-CAR: Team Jaguar (led by Ma’am Chloe G. Nasungan)

The Board Ops initiative served as a powerful demonstration of the CCJE community’s commitment to its students. The support teams provided an encouraging presence that helped transform a high-pressure morning into a moment of solidarity.

This support began with personalized send-offs, where CCJE faculty, Student Government Organization (SGO) and Criminology Intern met and greeted the examinees at the gates to help ease their nerves before entering the testing rooms. To provide spiritual guidance, the teams gathered the students for heartfelt prayers, asking for the mental clarity and inner strength needed to face the rigorous exam. Finally, the college delivered lunch packs to each site, making sure every examinee remained well-nourished and energized for their afternoon sessions. Through these actions, the CCJE family proved that they are with their students every step of their journey.

The initiative served as a powerful symbol of unity. By documenting the event with group photos and the official Board Ops banner, the CCJE community reinforced their commitment to their students’ dreams.

The road to RCrim is a difficult one, but through this collective effort, the college hoped to remind the examinees that they do not walk this path alone. With faith and perseverance, the CCJE family eagerly awaits the success of its future criminologists.
