Commitment to Excellence and Quality Education
Behind this success lies BCU’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education and comprehensive training to its students. The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) has consistently invested in modern teaching methods, up-to-date curriculum, and professional development programs to ensure that students are well-prepared for both the licensure examinations and their future careers.
Dr. Elma Dona-al, Vice President for Academics, expressed profound pride in the graduates’ accomplishments.
“Our students have shown remarkable determination and perseverance, especially considering the challenges posed over the past years,” Dr. Dona-al said. “This achievement reflects not only their individual efforts but also the collective support and guidance provided by our dedicated faculty and staff.”
Inspiring Future Criminal Justice Professionals
The ripple effect of this achievement extends beyond exam results. It inspires current and future students to strive for excellence and underscores the effectiveness of BCU’s educational strategies.
Fourth-year criminology student, Aiken Lester Masgay, expressed newfound motivation after hearing about the results.
“Knowing that our seniors performed so well gives me confidence that I’m in the right place to achieve my dreams,” Masgay said. “It pushes me to study harder and take advantage of all the learning opportunities that our College of Criminal Justice Education offers. I’ve started to compile all of my handouts and review materials for the board exam. Taking down notes, learning from free online reviews rather than playing online games, heeding our instructors’ advice in studying first rather than getting distracted on my friends- these and more are helpful in preparing for the board exam.”
Contributing to National Development and Safety
BCU’s success also contributes positively to the nation’s pool of competent and qualified criminology professionals, ready to serve and uphold justice in various capacities across the country.
“Producing well-equipped graduates is our way of contributing to the safety and security of our communities,” Dr. Ramon L. Kindipan, Sr. added. “We are proud to add skilled professionals to the workforce who will make significant contributions to law enforcement and public safety.”
Looking Ahead!
Building on this achievement, BCU remains committed to continuous improvement and innovation in its academic programs. Plans are underway to introduce more specialized training and collaborative opportunities to further enhance the learning experience of criminology students.
“This is just the beginning,” said Mrs. Beca May Pidlao-Palitayan, OIC-Dean of CCJE. “We will continue to strive for excellence and provide our students with the best education possible so they can excel in their future endeavors.”
As celebrations continue, the entire BCU community looks forward to sustaining and surpassing this success in the years to come, reinforcing its reputation as a cradle for future leaders in the field of criminal justice.
