Baguio Central University’s College of Business Administration marked a significant milestone by successfully concluding its first seminar series titled Navigating Competencies of CBA Students Towards Agile and Future-Proof Young Business Professionals (Series 1) held in the afternoon of October 8, 2024 at Margarita J. Fernandez Function Hall.
Three professional experts were invited to discuss three topics aimed to unlock students’ potential and equip them with practical skills they need to thrive in the ever-changing world of business. The seminar series began with Dr. Leonarda R. Aguinalde, the former Vice President for Academic Affairs of University of the Cordilleras discussing the subject Developing Professional Image. She skillfully piqued the interest of students through demonstrations of actual experiences and engaging students with her talk. She engaged with students and reminded them to eliminate their bad habits in the usage of their mobile devices.
The second speaker, Ms. Ayson Depayso is a highly accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in the fields of hospitality and tourism management. She shared her expertise on the topic Gearing Towards Professional Development where she shared her own experience and learnings regarding personality development which the students can relate and learn from. Afterwards, she asked a question to one of the students, and the interactive forum started.
