JA Philippines and Baguio Central University-CBA Seal Partnership Through Online MOA Signing

August 13, 2025 — Junior Achievement of the Philippines, Inc. (JA Philippines) and Baguio Central University’s College of Business Administration (BCU-CBA) formally strengthened their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed online via Zoom on August 13, 2025.

The MOA was signed by JA Philippines, represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Krishna C. Alejandrino, MSC, ChBA, and BCU-CBA, represented by its Dean, Dr. Cherrie Mae M. Manuel. The virtual signing was attended by faculty members of the College of Business Administration and representatives from JA Philippines, highlighting the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing work readiness and professional standards in business education.

Under the agreement, BCU-CBA is officially recognized as a partner institution supporting the work readiness program of JA Philippines. A key component of the partnership is the implementation of the Registered Business Professional™ certification examination for BCU’s graduating business students of 2025. The assessment serves as a validation program that certifies the competencies of aspiring business professionals, evaluated by corporate partners and industry experts affiliated with JA Philippines.

In addition, qualified faculty members of the College will also receive benefits under the agreement, alongside other provisions mutually agreed upon in the MOA. The partnership underscores both institutions’ shared goal of enhancing student employability, aligning academic preparation with industry standards, and equipping future business professionals with credentials that validate their readiness for the workforce.
