Engaging Camaraderie
The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management ‘s First Team building started at 1:00 O’clock with the theme “Unified We Succeed” whereas, there are provided colors which represents the dominance of each Team. The team Building enhanced unity and relevance of the department aid to create strong bond. In this regard, Students are being able to meet freshmen students.
As the First ever team Building of the Department, students are dedicated with their effort to present their own Yell which serves as the grand opening of the event. Through the help of the event Facilitators, The Student Government Organization led the game mechanics given tasks for each team.
This is to the designated rooms in order for every Team to experience and accomplish their games according to the allotted time given with award package for every team as an appreciation for their Hard works.
The Team Building gone through enjoyment whereas every team also present their muse and escort representatives together with banner making contest. which made a huge enjoyment during the competition.
As one of the Team building activity, the Banner making contest of every team have brought immense joy to build capability of students upon raising healthy competition together with other year level. Yellow Team bound to be the first runner up with banner making and yell competition.
Every team has been required to provide their representatives to present their team color in order to be recognized, whereas, this seeks to boost confidence of students.
The success of the event has led to developed the department ‘s Teamwork that foster student s’ social and communication skills, this encourages people to work in coordination, and even enables people to learn how to trust another.
As regard through the successful conduct of the event, the sustainable development goals number 17 aim to further progress unity and familiarization of students from different levels.
Students gained opportunities to express empathy, and through collaboration, work as part of a team and make compromises with peers who have different viewpoints, these are important for students both for personal growth and even on beyond school premises as it promotes positive behavior in real-life situations.
Leadership, such an important quality to build a healthy environment where everyone feels they have something to contribute and are wanted. In other words, positive and cooperative teamwork in school builds the groundwork for healthy interpersonal relationships today, for academic success and for the future of workplace.
In order to inspire students for their effort and participation, The student government organization prepared mystery gift box packages as reward of appreciation.
Recognizing teamwork is an opportunity to do that while building personal value and a sense of achievement and supporting a culture of encouragement and respect for those you work with.
During the closing remarks of the event, green team has been awarded by the Dean for their organized performance It is the essence to reward students who participate and succeeded in team building exercises because it promotes positive behavior, encourages student buy-in, and acknowledges the importance of working together.
Awards for students serves as an incentive to make valuable contributions to the integrity of the group and to practice important skills such as communication, leadership and problem solving.
