Two faculty members from the College of Business Administration (CBA) completed a five-day Faculty Industry Immersion Program at FullSuite from March 25 to March 29, gaining valuable exposure to fund administration, venture capital operations, and corporate finance practices.
Ms. Marga L. Taganas and Ms. Khea Joy H. Botes participated in the immersion program, which aimed to enhance faculty competencies through direct engagement with industry professionals and real-world financial systems. The initiative forms part of the institution’s continuing efforts to ensure that academic instruction remains aligned with current industry standards and responsive to the evolving demands of the business and finance sectors.
The immersion program provided faculty members with up-to-date industry exposure and practical insights into current business operations and private-sector workflows. These experiences are expected to enhance classroom instruction, enrich curriculum content, and better prepare students for the realities of the professional workplace.
The College also expressed its gratitude to FullSuite for accommodating the faculty members and facilitating the successful completion of the immersion program. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to professional development, industry-academe collaboration, and experiential learning opportunities that benefit both educators and students.
The initiative supports the University’s commitment to quality education and industry collaboration while advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, the program contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education by strengthening technical and professional competencies, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth through skills development and innovation, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering meaningful collaboration between academic institutions and industry partners.
