Baguio Central University Partners with Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP) to Empower Future Business Leaders

Baguio Central University through the College of Business Administration successfully concluded the signing of Memorandum of Agreement and orientation with Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP) on November 29, 2024 held at the Main Campus, Bonifacio Street, Baguio City.

The event marks a significant step of the university to future-proof the students by equipping them with practical knowledge and skills from actual experiences of management executives and people managers or practitioners. A short orientation was delivered by the guests from JPMAP focusing on the benefits of the membership, challenging and inviting students to join the upcoming events of the organization including other opportunities to showcase their potential as future leaders and managers.

The MOA signing was attended by Mr. Ram Mathew Mutuc, JPMAP- National President, Ms. Francine Saut, JPMAP Chairperson for Membership, and Mr. Alexander Guinto, JPMAP Professional Staff in-charge. Dr. Cherrie Mae Manuel, Dean of the College of Business Administration, represented the BCU-CBA, together with Mr. Argie Q. Aquino, the coordinator whose initiative served as a link between the university and JPMAP. As a result of this partnership, students from the College of Business Administration (CBA) were also able to register as members of JPMAP, opening up new opportunities for professional growth and networking.

JPMAP is a national youth organization, guided by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), the premier organization of human resource practitioners and people managers. PMAP serves as the mother organization that guides the JPMAP National officers. Both JPMAP and PMAP work hand-in-hand to provide a fruitful organization to the community.
