The College of Business Administration (CBA) successfully held its Badge of Readiness: 1st CBA Interns Pinning Ceremony on January 9, 2026, at the BCU Magsaysay Auditorium, carrying the theme “Future Proofing: Empowering Industry and Corporate Interns towards Professionalism.” The event formally recognized the readiness of CBA students as they transition from academic preparation to real-world industry immersion.
The ceremony was attended by CBA interns together with their parents and guardians, who accompanied them during the solemn procession—symbolizing the vital role of family support in the students’ academic and professional journeys. This meaningful participation added depth and emotional significance to the occasion, reinforcing the shared commitment of the institution, families, and students toward professional excellence.
The program commenced with a warm welcome delivered by Baguio Central University Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Elma D. Donaal, who emphasized the University’s commitment to holistic education and industry-aligned training. Her message highlighted the importance of readiness, adaptability, and values-driven professionalism as essential competencies for future business leaders.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the inspirational message delivered by Mr. Terrance Darryl Bryan G. Marquez, a faculty member of Apayao State College and a proud alumnus of the CBA. Drawing from his academic and professional experiences, Mr. Marquez encouraged the interns to embrace continuous learning, integrity, and resilience as they enter their practicum.
