The College of Business Administration (CBA) continues to demonstrate its commitment to research excellence and academic collaboration through the active participation of its faculty and academic leaders in scholarly engagements that promote innovation and sustainable development.
Representing the College, Dr. Jolly B. Mariacos, CBA Faculty, and Dr. Cherrie Mae M. Manuel, CBA Dean, participated in the 1st Research Conference and Scholarly Linkages for Universal and Sustainable Education, held on June 26–27, 2026, at Saint Louis University. The two-day conference brought together educators, researchers, and academic leaders from various higher education institutions to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and strengthen collaborative partnerships in research and education.
Throughout the conference, the delegates engaged in meaningful discussions on emerging research trends, innovative teaching and learning strategies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the role of higher education institutions in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The presentations and scholarly exchanges provided valuable insights that will further enhance the College’s initiatives in instruction, research, extension, and community engagement while reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and societal impact.
As part of the conference activities, the delegates also participated in a campus tour of Saint Louis University, where they explored the institution’s academic facilities, learning spaces, and research environment. The visit offered an opportunity to observe institutional best practices and innovative approaches to higher education, inspiring continuous improvement and quality enhancement within the College of Business Administration.
The participation of Dr. Mariacos and Dr. Manuel underscores the College’s dedication to fostering a culture of research, innovation, and lifelong learning. By actively engaging in academic conferences and scholarly networks, the College continues to strengthen its capacity to produce relevant research, cultivate strategic partnerships, and develop programs that respond to the evolving needs of society and industry.
