The first day of the Preliminary Examinations became more encouraging and memorpable for students as the College of Criminal Justice Education Student Government Organization (CCJE S.G.O.) launched its Free Lugaw Initiative to support examinees.
The activity aimed to provide warmth, comfort, and encouragement to students as they faced the challenges of their first examination day. By offering free lugaw, the CCJE S.G.O. demonstrated its commitment to student welfare, recognizing the importance of proper nourishment and positive morale during academically demanding periods.
Students were warmly welcomed and encouraged to bring their own cups, mugs, tubs, or bowls as part of the organization’s advocacy for environmental responsibility and sustainability. This simple yet thoughtful approach not only reduced waste but also promoted collective responsibility within the CCJE community.
Through this gesture of service, CCJE S.G.O. officers conveyed their support and well wishes to all examinees, reminding them that they are not alone in their academic journey. The initiative fostered a sense of unity, care, and camaraderie among students and faculty members.
Aligned with the United Nations’ United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, the Free Lugaw Initiative highlights the organization’s dedication not only to academic excellence but also to holistic student support and environmental stewardship.
