Non-Teaching Personnel of Baguio Central University (BCU) including the Office of the Registrar, gathered in Cabangan, Zambales, on April 13–16, 2026, for a four-day team-building activity aimed at strengthening workplace relationships and cooperation across administrative offices.
“Stronger Together: Building Unity, Strengthening Connections, and Inspiring Excellence in Service,” the gathering provided employees with an opportunity to connect beyond their daily office responsibilities and reflect on their shared role in serving the university community.
Baguio Central University, under the esteemed leadership of University President Dr. Margarita Cecilda B. Rillera, recognizes the vital role and collective contributions of its academic and administrative personnel in fulfilling the University’s educational mission and achieving its institutional goals. The activity highlighted the role of non-teaching employees, whose daily work supports students, faculty, alumni, and other stakeholders.
Time away from the usual workplace allowed participants to recharge, interact with colleagues from different offices, and strengthen camaraderie.
The team-building activity reflects Baguio Central University’s commitment to promoting employee well-being (SDG 3), fostering a productive and supportive work environment (SDG 8),
and strengthening collaboration and partnerships among university personnel (SDG 17). Through this initiative, the Registrar’s Office and other non-teaching personnel reinforced their shared commitment to teamwork, professional growth, and quality service delivery, contributing to the sustainable development and institutional goals of Baguio Central Univesity.
Indeed, a stronger team creates a more productive workplace, and through unity and cooperation, we continue to grow, serve, and achieve excellence together.
