The competition, organized by the Philippine Statistics Authority–Cordillera Administrative Region (PSA-CAR), was held at the Dr. Margarita J. Fernandez Hall, sixth floor, BCU Main Campus, Baguio City.

Of the two BCU representatives, Bay-ong successfully advanced to the third and final round, earning a total of 13 points and finishing in a four-way tie for sixth place, while Abuan participated in the first two rounds.

The competition featured three rounds of 10 multiple-choice questions each, testing participants’ statistical knowledge, reasoning, and accuracy under time limits. Bay-ong earned five points in Round 1, four in Round 2, and four in Round 3.

Although only the top three finishers received championship awards, Bay-ong’s advancement to the final round marked a commendable performance for BCU, highlighting the students’ determination and ability to compete alongside representatives from other colleges and universities across the Cordillera region.
