August 4, 2025 —The College of Business Administration (CBA) of Baguio Central University (BCU) conducted an online consultation meeting with JA Philippines via Google Meet to discuss the renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and explore additional programs and services that could further strengthen the partnership between the two institutions.
One of the primary agenda items was the renewal of the existing Memorandum of Agreement. Mr. Quetua discussed the possibility of conducting an offline MOA signing and provided a detailed overview of the signing process, including the necessary procedures and requirements to facilitate the renewal. In addition to the MOA renewal, Mr. Quetua introduced the expanded services that JA Philippines offers to its partner schools. Among these are the Entrepreneurial Skills Pass (ESP) Program, which aims to equip students with practical entrepreneurial competencies, and the Mini-MBA Program designed to enhance the professional development of faculty members.
The consultation also provided an opportunity for BCU-CBA representatives to raise inquiries regarding the review sessions for the Registered Business Professional (RBP) and Registered Marketing Professional (RMP) examinations. Discussions covered the review programs, pre-examination assistance, and other support services available to students preparing for the certification exams. Furthermore, both parties explored future collaboration opportunities, including the possibility of establishing a testing center in Northern Luzon to make certification examinations more accessible to students and professionals in the region.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of BCU-CBA and JA Philippines to providing quality business education and professional development opportunities. This initiative advances SDG 4: Quality Education by expanding learning and professional development opportunities; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by strengthening entrepreneurial and career readiness; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through continued collaboration between BCU-CBA and JA Philippines.
