BCU Criminology Interns Initiate Prompt Action Providing Assistance at Magsaysay, Baguio City Vehicular Accident

“Bayanihan” A means of coming together to help others in times of need.
In a remarkable display of compassion and quick thinking, a group of interns from the Bachelor of Science in Criminology of Baguio Central University provides assistance at the scene of a vehicular accident that occurred at Magsaysay, Baguio City, specifically in front Baguio Country Sounds (BCS) on March 8, 2025, at around 12:40 in the afternoon.

The BCU criminology interns passing by the area immediately responded upon witnessing the aftermath of the accident. The accident, which involved a Jitney and a Taxi, resulted in zero injuries and casualties. The BCU criminology interns showed an appreciable action in reducing the consequences of the accident, providing a smooth response to the accident.

The incident shows the importance of community engagement, preparedness, and effective training in responding to emergency situations. The BCU criminology interns’ actions serve as a testament to the value of on-the-job training and the impact that dedicated, well-trained individuals can have in their communities.
