The celebration honored the achievements of Engr. Charlyn Jhoy P. Ayban, Engr. Karen Kim S. Co, Engr. Xena Joy Carla A. Lagran, and Atty. Engr. Krizzan Mariz A. Valdez. Their success brought pride to their families, the Engineering faculty, and the entire BCU community.
The event was attended by members of the Engineering faculty, Dean Engr. Onofre Rillera, and the GESA officers, who joined in recognizing the newly licensed professionals. Organized by the GESA officers, the celebration served as a meaningful opportunity to appreciate the examinees’ achievements and acknowledge the commitment and effort required to reach this professional milestone.
Beyond celebrating their success, the gathering reflected the strong sense of community within BCU’s Geodetic Engineering program. The newly licensed engineers serve as an inspiration to current students who continue to work toward their own academic and professional goals.
As they begin the next chapter of their careers, BCU and GESA extend their congratulations to the new Geodetic Engineers and wish them continued growth, meaningful opportunities, and success in their chosen profession.
The initiative supports SDG 4: Quality Education — Target 4.4: Increase the number of people with relevant skills for employment and decent jobs. The celebration is connected to SDG 4, Target 4.4, because it recognizes graduates who have achieved a professional qualification in Geodetic Engineering. Their licensure marks an important step toward applying their technical knowledge and skills in the workforce. By celebrating their achievement, BCU also encourages current students to pursue academic excellence and professional development.
