BCU Students Compete in the Robolution Regional

The students competed in different categories: Emegasumo V1, Erobot line following V1 and V2,Mobile Controlled V1 and Quiz Bee.

Two teams from CBA participated in the said competition: The Automata Eagle team members were Janlei R. Constante, Karl Joefred B. Averilla, and Prince Jasper V. Amor, while Circuit City’s team were Allen B.Mangay-ayam, Kim L.Caga, and Rohann Jericho A. Bughong.

Team Circuit City excelled by winning 2nd place in the highly competitive Emegasumo V1 category, demonstrating their impressive skills and teamwork.

                Meanwhile, the Baguio Central University was awarded as 4th runner-up in overall.The event highlighted a challenge to devise robotic solutions within limited timeframes. It was a thrilling and inspiring showcase of creativity and teamwork.  BCU participants demonstrated commendable problem-solving skills and adaptability during the intense rounds of the Mobile Controlled V1 category. Despite the challenges of real-time robot control and navigation, both the Automata Eagle and Circuit City teams displayed strong coordination and quick decision-making, earning praise from judges and fellow competitors alike. Their ability to troubleshoot and optimize their robots on the spot truly underscored their technical expertise and teamwork.

As part of the preparation for the competition, the participants attended an orientation via Zoom before the competition. This session helped them familiarize with the competition rules and requirements to better prepare them for the challenges ahead.

          Furthermore, the Regional Robolution tournament provided an excellent platform for students to apply their academic learning in a hands-on environment, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills critical in the field of robotics and automation.
