Baguio City, July 22, 2023– In a groundbreaking event, Baguio Central University (BCU) brought the joy of baking to the women of Purok 27, Irisan, Baguio City. The program, titled “Knead, Rise, and Shine: Mastering the Art of Baking and Packaging,” took place on July 22, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at BCU’s Technical and Livelihood Education (TLE) Room.

As part of BCU’s Community Extension Program, this initiative directly addressed the needs of the community by offering a tailored program aimed at enhancing skills and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. Six women from Purok 27 eagerly participated, immersing themselves in a day of learning the fundamentals of baking and the art of effective packaging.
