Faculty emphasized that the tryouts go beyond athletic ability. Students are encouraged to balance academic responsibilities with extracurricular involvement, translating skills such as teamwork, discipline, and leadership from the field to their studies and future careers in criminology.
With the tryouts concluded, CCJE looks forward to forming competitive and disciplined teams to represent the department in the upcoming intramural competitions. The activity supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being, which promotes healthy lifestyles and physical well-being, and SDG 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes holistic student development through the cultivation of discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. Through sports, CCJE continues to encourage students to excel both on and off the court while upholding the values, unity, and pride of the CCJE community.
