Students from the College of Business Administration (CBA) of Baguio Central University (BCU) actively participated in TechnoSprint 2025, a one-day multidisciplinary innovation sprint held on February 7, 2025, at the University of the Cordilleras Theater. Organised by UC InTTO and Saleng Mentors, the event immersed participants in design thinking and technopreneurship to solve real-world challenges through creative, technology-driven solutions.
During the event, BCU-CBA students collaborated in diverse teams with peers from various colleges and universities. Guided by industry mentors and speakers, the workshop groups applied business strategies to tech-oriented ideas, designed project prototypes, and pitched their evaluated outputs to a panel of judges.
The intensive sprint concluded with an awarding ceremony recognizing top-performing teams for their innovative concepts, presenting certificates and tokens to outstanding student output presenters. This activity directly aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by delivering hands-on experiential learning that equips youth with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship. It also advances SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by cultivating technopreneurship and innovative thinking among future business leaders, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering inter-university collaboration to address complex societal challenges.
