BCU GUIDANCE SERVICES OFFICE ORGANIZES TWO-DAY ORIENTATION FOR FRESHMEN AND TRANSFEREES

The Baguio Central University (BCU) Guidance Services Office organized the Freshmen and Transferees’ Orientation for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027 on August 26–27, 2026, at the Dr. MJF Function Hall, Main Building, 6th Floor. The two-day activity aimed to familiarize incoming students with the University, its services, and available opportunities as they transitioned into university life.

The orientation welcomed incoming freshmen and transferees from six colleges of the University.

On August 26, students from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), College of Teachers Education and Liberal Arts (CTELA), and College of Business Administration (CBA) participated in the orientation.

On August 27, the program welcomed students from the College of Nursing and School of Midwifery (CONSM), College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM), and College of Engineering (COE).

Through the orientation, the Guidance Services Office helped introduce new students to the University environment and the resources available to support their academic journey.

The completed orientation provided incoming freshmen and transferees with an introduction to BCU and its available services and opportunities. The Guidance Services Office welcomed the students and encouraged them to pursue meaningful experiences, personal growth, and academic success throughout their university journey.

The activity supports SDG 4: Quality Education by helping incoming students become familiar with university services and opportunities that can support their transition into higher education.
