BCU-GESA PARTICIPATES IN SGO BOOTH FAIR PROMOTING CONNECTION AND A CARING COMMUNITY

February 5, 2026 | Students Hall, BCU Main Campus

The Baguio Central University – Geodetic Engineering Student Association (BCU-GESA) together with JPICE-BCUSC and COE-SGO participated in the Booth Fair on February 5, 2026, at the Students Hall, BCU Main Campus. The activity brought students together through interactive games that encouraged connection, teamwork, and camaraderie.

With the theme “Love Starts Here: Building a Caring Community,” the booth featured a buzz wire game that tested participants’ steady hands and a dart station that invited students to enjoy friendly challenges. Beyond the games, the activities provided opportunities for students to share laughter, celebrate one another’s efforts, and build meaningful connections.

The participation of BCU-GESA, alongside COE-SGO and the Junior Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – BCU Student Chapter (JPICE-BCUSC), highlighted the value of collaboration among student organizations. Their collective efforts in preparing and assisting with the booth helped create an engaging space where students could enjoy shared experiences and strengthen their sense of community.

Through this participation, BCU-GESA reaffirmed the importance of student involvement, cooperation, and mutual support in fostering a welcoming and caring university environment.

The event supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being — Target 3.4. The booth fair supported student well-being by encouraging recreation, positive social interaction, and a sense of belonging. While the activity was not a direct implementation of the target, it contributed to a supportive campus environment that values social connection and well-being.
