A highlight during the conference was the presentation by Mr. Karl Matthieu B. Rillera during the Category A1 session. He presented PROJECT K.A.D.W.A., one of Baguio Central University’s globally recognized cases under the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), ranked at #29 in A1 for Student Support & Engagement, and supports SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals). The Guidance Services Office initiates PROJECT K.A.D.W.A.e, headed by Ms. Judith R. Adina, alongside the Peer Facilitators & Mental Health Advocates Organization (PF-MHAO). The project is designed to address the growing and multifaceted needs of students, focusing on emotional, social, and personal well-being alongside academic excellence, and promoting a positive environment where peer support and mentoring are normalized and accessible across all university departments, leading to an integrated guidance system for seamless pathways and support dispatch to all students.
