The RDC’s engagement centered on mapping research projects and publications against the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), strengthening publication tracking, and organizing verifiable research evidence. The workshop also emphasized assessing how research findings inform policies, improve institutional practices, and benefit communities.
Aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, these priorities support SDG 4 (Quality Education) through research capacity development, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through strengthening research and innovation, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaborative research and knowledge sharing.
Building on the workshop’s insights, the RDC aims to strengthen coordination with research coordinators, faculty, and partner offices to improve research documentation and monitor outcomes. These efforts advance BCU’s commitment to purposeful research and evidence-based contributions to sustainable development.
